Involve Learners in Training

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin

This quote is used a lot when we talk about instructor-led training.  Involving learners (the participant) is critical. When developing learning lead by an instructor, it is important to have the student participate in the training. Creating engaging activities where they can discover the answers in a safe environment. Involvement can be done both in person or through virtual learning through a remote platform.

Where some struggle, is the notion of involving the learner with eLearning courses.  What are some ways you engage the students in your eLearning courses? We’d like to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
